An audit chain, not a log
Each event is hashed together with the one before it. Alter one and every hash after it changes.
Time attested by a third party
An RFC 3161 token from an independent authority, verifiable with openssl. The timing does not rest on our word.
Identity, and how it was proved
A one-time code to the signer's address, or one you issue yourself. The certificate names which was used.
Where they signed from
IP address, browser fingerprint and approximate city, captured server-side at the moment of signing and fixed on the first session.
